Saturday 22nd. May 2021.

The Kernewek Lowender is a Biennial festival that celebrates the Copper Coast area's Cornish heritage. Many community groups come together to stage the events that are held during the week. The Rotary Club of Northern Yorke Peninsula is one of those groups and will be organising and hosting the Village Fair,  opening at 8:30 A.M. and go until 4:00 P.M. The Kernewek Lowender usually attracts large crowds of people from all over the State, many coming for the whole week to attend multiple events.

This year's event will be different in that to comply with Government Covid 19 regulations, we will be fencing the park, monitoring crowd numbers, having Covid Marshalls circulating and separating stalls by a safe distance. As usual, we will be selling traditional Cornish Pasties and the Kernewek Lowender Committee will be selling Swanky, the Cornish beer, brewed to the original recipe that has been passed down from brewer to brewer throughout the years.  Use the button below to register interest in having a stall at this event. Bookings via the TRYBOOKING website will be available soon. Conditions of entry that apply to our regular monthly Market will apply to the Village Market, these conditions can be viewed by clicking on the Market page button at the bottom of this page.
